If you are on dialysis and are interested in receiving a transplant, the staff of Universal Kidney Centers can assist you in navigating through the maze of various transplant centers, series of tests, transplant waiting lists, medications, and of course, insurance issues.

Generally, in order to receive an organ transplant, you must first be placed on the waiting list.  We are very lucky in the state of Florida:  there are seven different transplant centers.

Universal Kidney Centers’ staff members are your key to this opportunity.  First, we can arrange for your initial consultation.  Here they will explore your medical history, social support systems and other related issues.  During this meeting, it is important for you to feel comfortable with the transplant team members.

How quickly you get on the transplant list is partially up to you.  You should be as flexible with your schedule as possible.
